6-inch by 6-inch canvas painting created from oil pastels, acrylic and metallic waxes, and a 1.5-inch gold-leaf trim to create a frameless artwork ready to show!
 
This mini artwork is a complimentary piece in the 2026 series of dark and dreamy floral 'pondscapes' created in mixed media. This dramatic pond moment draws the viewer in to fantasize while taking in the layers of rich colors and shimmering paint accents.
 
The single lily bloom is molded in the center with gesso, adding texture and depth to central portion of the bloom. Surrounding the stunning, single bloom is a lily pad created from metallic waxes.  The contrast of the ethereal floating lily against the pitch- black night dark trimmed in gold-leaf make this piece a bold statement in a small size.
